Using the films Avatar and Rabbit-Proof Fence, students will compare and contrast how colonialism is portrayed through film. In doing so, they will learn and understand the complexities of colonialism.

Includes viewing activities and discussion questions. This unit encourages pair/share or group work and class discussion.
