Hi There! I’m Kelly Sage. I’m an English teacher, long-time homeschooler, writer, and mama to two teens. I started teaching English in 2004 and teaching online in 2017. I LOVE teaching, especially creative writing and reading, and I’d like to work with your learners.

Finding the right class and teacher is important, so I offer free creative writing workshops throughout the year. Live and recorded, these classes will help you and your student see if my teaching style works for their learning style.

I offer both live and flex classes. Classes run for about an hour; encourage your kids to write about their interests and meet them where they are on their writing journey.

Whether you love to write, find it pretty meh, or would rather do pretty much anything else, this class is for you!

Together, we’ll brainstorm all of the things we could write about. We’ll focus on our interests and the genres we enjoy. We’ll talk about audience, and you’ll find out who the MOST important audience is for your writing.

You’ll also be introduced to fast writing and several ways to help you brainstorm your next writing project.

Free Creative Writing Workshops- Live

I offer free creative writing workshops four times a year. These are great sample classes and often fill up quickly, so be sure to register. Each class is held on Zoom, runs for an hour, and invites your kids to learn about writing, write, and share their writing if they choose to do so.
