We have enjoyed both subscriptions and individual crates. A subscription is a wonderful gift because it gives your child something to learn and explore every month. You choose the time frame (1, 3, 6, or 12-month). You can also give a gift card so receivers can choose the crates they want. KiwiCo offers detailed instructions. Sometimes online, often in instruction booklets, each project gives easy-to-follow directions, so everyone is successful. While instructions are geared towards the age group, I’ve found them to be accessible for a variety of learners.
