I am so glad I did a mentoring session with Kelly! We met via a Zoom conference which was convenient and smooth. I had presented Kelly with some specific concerns before our meeting pertaining to my son’s transition from a small private school (which he had attended for 9 years) to public middle school for 7th grade. We were coming off of a rocky 6th grade year and Kelly helped me with ideas for making the upcoming transition smooth and positive. We needed ways to integrate a completely new school experience and schedule into our family, which includes my 3rd grade daughter and husband. We discussed specific strategies and practical steps that I actually used with success! We also had wonderful discussions about parenting and educational philosophies and how they can nurture or tear down our children. Time with Kelly is comfortable, safe, productive and fun.
