For a kid who loves writing, a new pen and a notebook, the possibilities of a blank page might be all they need for inspiration. For other writers (reluctant, new, or feeling stuck), those same tools can feel overwhelming, and no matter the writing prompts or encouragement, the page is going to remain blank.

Thankfully, there are online writing resources to engage and inspire all types of writers. The gentle nudge of a game, a connection with other writers, and even the fact that learning is happening on a screen can be just thing needed to encourage writing.

Below you’ll find awesome online writing resources- apps to get kids playing with words and stories, websites to help kids take their writing to the next level, ways to publish, connect with other young writers, and find encouragement.
