I’m super excited to share with you a free art and creative writing workshop I’ve put together with Lotus from Art History Kids. Through lessons and activities focusing on art history, imagery, and free-verse poetry, our workshop will help your kids fall in love with art and writing.

Fall in Love with Art and Writing | A Free Art and Creative Writing Workshop

In four pre-recorded video lessons, you and your kids can dive into the art of Edvard Munch and Yayoi Kusama and the poetry of Carl Sandburg.

Each lesson offers information about an artist or poet. The workshops also include creative writing and art activities so kids can take what they are learning and apply it in fun ways.

Class 1- Edvard Munch and The Scream & art activity

Class 2- Edvard Munch’s The Scream & Bones by Carl Sandburg & writing activity

Class 3- Theme in Yellow by Carl Sandburg and On Pumpkins by Yayoi Kusama & art activity

Class 4- Yayoi Kusama’s Pumpkin Art & writing activity

When you register, you’ll be signed up for both Lotus’ and my newsletter and be given a link to the video classroom.

You’ll need minimal supplies (whatever you have on hand), and you and your kids can watch the videos anytime.
