Homework

While I do not assign homework in my classes, there are many ways for families to keep the learning going after class ends.

• Students can continue to work on the writing piece they started or worked on in class. Have them go through the writing process. Use an *editing checklist or *personal spelling list to help them get to the final stage.
• Use the *novel guides to dig deeper into the book club reads, or choose a previous novel study and begin a new book.
• Take a *flex class and start a new writing project
• Put together a *writing portfolio
• Take the *flex class on using commas and practice getting them in the right place.
• Sign up for the next session of Homeschool Pen Pals.
