Clubs for Kids & Teens
Writing Games for Kids 8-12- on Outschool
Calling all gamers and writers. Come play writing games and make new friends!

Each Monday, I post a new creative writing game. Each game will help us think about different aspects of writing, such as characterization, plot, setting, conflict, figurative language, and word choice. We’ll play with adding detail and creating our writing styles, and through play, we’ll learn all about creative writing.
Keeper of the Lost Cities Fans on Outschool
Which character in the series would be your BFF? What talent would you possess? Would you enroll in Foxfire? Whose team are you on?

A fun group for fans of Shannon Messenger’s series Keeper of the Lost Cities. Come discuss and write about your favorite characters and scenes.
Collaborative Writing for Teens- Keep the Story Going
Co-create and collaborate with other writers by adding your ideas to an ongoing piece or starting a piece of your own.

I’ll post a new start to a story or poem every Monday. Each of these beginnings needs your creativity to keep the piece going.
