In 2011, I started taking creative writing circles with Women Writing for (a) Change, Bloomington, Indiana and felt instantly at home. In 2013, after completing an intensive leadership program, I began facilitating circles for both adults and children. Every semester, in person or virtually, I listen and watch writers (many of whom don’t consider themselves writers at first) use their words, the gentle feedback they receive, the stories of others, and courage to transform. Be it their writing, their lives, or both; these writing circles are impactful!

Imagine This! Imagine That!
Girls in 4th-6th grade are invited to use their imaginations to write one of a kind stories. Perhaps YOU or someone you know has a story churning inside that is just waiting to be written. Girls who imagine and dream will participate in games, crafts and of course WRITING connected to their most creative selves. Come imagine and write with us at Young Women Writing for a Change!

This is an in-person circle.
Classes can also be registered for individually.
Challenge by Choice for Teens in grades 7-12
A day-long retreat in beautiful Brown County, Indiana at Camp Rancho Framasa. Lunch and snacks are provided. Activities include low and high ropes opportunities, writing reflection, team building and problem solving. Walking on site requires a moderate level of fitness.
