In this class, students will bring a piece of writing they have already begun, with the hopes of finishing, revising, or editing it. We’ll use revision and editing strategies to help them focus on what their piece needs. Time will be provided for questions and goal setting.

Materials needed for class-

1. A piece of writing they’ve started and want to work on

2. Highlighter or colored pencil

3. Completed revision checklist- provided prior to class

4. Something to write on and with

Journal, computer, speech-to-text, and scribe are all welcome

This class often meets twice a month. Students are welcome to bring the same piece to several workshops, and may want to, depending on the length of their piece and how much they work on it outside of class.
