Books for Math Lovers ~ Encourage the Love of Reading

Do you have a child who loves numbers? I do. It’s not uncommon for my daughter to request we do math first. Being a words person, this always throws me a little. Really, I think. You want to do math? I never say that, of course. I love that she is learning math differently than I did. I’ve written about my fears of math before. How approaching the subject again, as a mother and teacher, changed my feelings and understanding. I think this can be true about any subject, including reading. When we read with our children, they are not the only ones who learn.

Shapes, measuring, counting, equations, help your math lovers find all sorts of fun ways to explore their passion through good books.

Read with your children, just for fun, and let a love of math lead to a love of reading. Find the best books for math lovers below!
